An increasing percentage of all travel reservations are
made via popular travel websites such as Expedia®,
Travelocity®, and Orbitz®. The Innlink electronic
reseravtion service provides exposure to these and many
other travel portals. Travel
agents also
use the GDS to check availability
and make online reservations for their clients.
The Nitevision Innlink module connects the PMS to Innlink's
reservation service which provides real-time Internet reservation
management
and
maximum exposure
to
the Global
Distribution System via all the major GDS channels, including
Amadeus, Galileo (also known as Apollo), Sabre, Worldspan,
and Pegasus. Participating businesses gain valuable marketing
exposure and have complete control of unit availability,
unit rate yield options, and key property information and
policies.
