Details:
When a guest checks-in and wants to pay with a credit card, swipe or key in
the guest's credit card information. NiteVision will prompt you to pre-authorize
the card and allow you to enter the pre-authorization amount. NiteVision
then connects to the credit card processor and verifies that the card is
valid and has credit available.
When the payment for the stay is posted on the folio,
NiteVision searches for a valid pre-authorization for the
guest. If it finds one, the payment is immediately posted
to the folio. If NiteVision does not find a valid pre-authorization
for the guest, it connects to the processor for an approval.
In addition, this module greatly simplifies a typical
check-in. When a guest arrives that has a credit card "on
file," simply swipe the credit card. NiteVision will
locate the reservation and you can check them in from there.
